Two suspects were seen in a stolen vehicle leaving the mall parking lot. Security followed the suspects until officers got behind it. The suspects pulled over in the alley by Chipotle off NE 4th. The driver ran away and the passenger stayed in the vehicle, which was not in park and rolled into another vehicle. The driver was caught by officers a few minutes later hiding in a hallway in a nearby business. Both the driver and passenger were arrested and booked. |

The suspect entered the above location and looked at engagement rings for 45 minutes. After looking at numerous rings, and there being 5 trays of rings out, the suspect grabbed all 5 display trays valued at approximately $50,000 and fled the scene to a car. The suspect was kind enough to accidentally drop his health insurance card containing his name and date of birth at the scene. The witness positively identified the suspect. Bellevue SWAT responded to the Suspect’s residence in Issaquah. The suspect was arrested and the stolen jewelry was recovered. |
