The victim reported that his vehicle had been stolen and recovered a few blocks away.  Several items were stolen from the vehicle including a wallet and several payment cards.  Officers recovered photos of two suspects that had used the payment cards at local retailers.  The investigation continues.

Over the weekend the Bellevue Police Department received an email from an unidentified suspect using an Eastern European email account threatening harm to the employees of a local business. Officers met with personnel at the business and conducted a walkthrough.  Nothing suspicious was noticed or reported.  Officers were advised that the company periodically receives similar threats and did not express concern.  The investigation did not develop any credible threat or fear of harm from the involved parties.  Command was notified.

The suspect attempted to purchase $4,500 of merchandise and refused to provide identification.  The employee contacted the real cardholder and confirmed that she was not at the store and no one should be using her card. The investigation revealed the suspect was using a fraudulent ID and credit card in someone else’s name.  he was arrested and booked into jail.

An intoxicated male subject came up from behind the victim while walking downtown, he slid his hand up the back of the victim’s skirt, touching her buttocks.  He was located and detained by officers, identified by the victim and booked into jail.

An officer was conducting a proactive patrol and located an occupied vehicle that was parked illegally in a handicap space.  The officer was able to identify two females who were associated with the vehicle, and they both had outstanding warrants.  They were arrested without incident and booked into jail.

The subject was being evaluated at the hospital for a 72-hour hold regarding a mental health issue.  She became combative with the staff after being confronted about wandering into a restricted location in the emergency room.  A nurse attempted to move her and was subsequently struck by the subject.  The nurse did not have any serious injuries.  The suspect was physically restrained and a charge of assault 3rd degree will be submitted with the King County Prosecutor’s office.

An officer conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation and then also ID-ed a passenger for a seatbelt violation. Passenger returned with a Bellevue warrant. The passenger arrested and booked into jail.

A victim called to report that he woke up this morning and found the driver’s side rear window was smashed out of his vehicle while parked in the parking lot.  The subject discovered that among his belongings, he was missing a Springfield AR-15 rifle with Eotec Sights and Vortex Magnifier.  The rifle was kept in a canvas rifle bag and hidden behind the driver’s seat.  There is no suspect information.  The victim will try to locate a serial number for the gun to have it entered as stolen.

The reporting party advised that he was doing an inventory of his vehicles.  Upon running a trailer license plate, the caller discovered that the trailer had been reported as stolen out of Texas from the previous night.  An officer responded to take a report.

The suspect was involved with a non-criminal disturbance with the reporting party and then left the scene on foot.  A traffic officer located the suspect a few blocks away.  The suspect was arrested for a warrant out of Everett PD for Trespass and Obstructing.

A subject’s mom called when he started breaking things in his room due to being on drugs and not sleeping for 3 days. Nothing physical or threats occurred between the subject and the mom. The subject was irritated with police but stated he would calm down and did not want to hurt himself or others. He refused medical attention.

The suspect was intoxicated at his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.  She left the location and went to another apartment that belonged to her friend. The Suspect, who is always armed, went to that apartment and started beating on the door telling the victim to come out or he was going to shoot everyone in the unit. The victim eventually exited the unit and the male entered his vehicle and attempted to run over the victim several times with his car, driving up on the sidewalk.  The suspect was located by officers fleeing the scene and taken into custody.  A consent search of the vehicle located a firearm, which was seized.  The suspect was processed for DUI and booked into jail on felony charges.

A retailer reported a theft of a bag of jewelry that occurred on 8-6-19. An officer investigated and found that $4500 in jewelry was stolen.  Surveillance footage was provided to the officer with a good suspect description.  While on routine patrol the officer found the suspect in Crossroads and detained him for the theft.  He was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers observed an occupied questionable vehicle at the above location and initiated a social contact. Upon contact, the officers observed what appeared to be an open drug kit sitting on the center console area in plain view. Probable cause was established.  The suspects were arrested and consented to a search of their vehicle.  Approximately 1.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine was seized from the suspect vehicle. The suspects were interviewed and advised they would be summoned in the mail with a court date.

The suspect entered the store and stole a $1000 pair of shoes, then entered a different store and stole additional merchandise valued at $1800. The suspect then fled the store but was contacted by loss prevention. The suspect attempted to flee, and loss prevention held suspect until police arrived and took the suspect into custody.  The suspect provided false information about her name to the arresting officer.  The suspect was found to have numerous felony warrants. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail. She is known to use 30 different aliases.

Upon contacting the suspect, the investigating officer observed what appeared to be drug evidence within the center console area of the suspect vehicle in plain view. Probable cause was established, the suspect was arrested and provided consent to search his vehicle. The officer found .3 Grams of suspected fentanyl.  The suspect was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

The reporting party called the police to report a threat made against his life by the boyfriend of a female coworker regarding amorous text messages.  Upon investigation, the reporting party provided conflicting reports of the gravity and details of the reported threat.  The suspect was contacted via telephone who provided a conflicting version of events.  The reporting party ultimately declined to cooperate with the investigation after being asked to provide a statement under penalty of perjury.  Captain notified.

The reporting party called regarding the highly intoxicated suspect spitting on a window.  Officers contacted the suspect and determined that he met the criteria for an involuntary evaluation at the hospital.  While taking the suspect into protective custody, the suspect spit in the face of a Bellevue police employee that was on a ride-along.  After the hospital evaluation, the suspect will be booked on assault charges.

Multiple callers reported that the suspect was naked and breaking things on the 5th floor of the apartment building. The suspect was transported to the hospital for treatment of suspected drug use.  Charges are pending.

The suspects were released, and an informational case report was taken.

While on patrol, officers saw the suspect backed into a parking space.  He was sitting in the driver seat and smoking something out of a pen shaft.  Officers contacted the subject, arresting him for possession of drug paraphernalia.  With consent, officers searched the car and recovered 1.66 grams of suspected heroin from the car.  The suspect released to an adult friend and a summons was completed for drug paraphernalia.

Multiple callers reported that the suspect was attacking a female and was now fighting with a male who was wielding a knife. Upon arrival and securing the scene, the primary officer discovered that the suspect had assaulted his wife, and when a good Samaritan and his son stopped to assist, the suspect threatened to shoot and kill them for intervening. The Samaritan, believing the suspect’s statements, pulled out a knife, attempting to defend himself, his son, and the female that was being assaulted. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
