Bellevue Police Captain Travess Forbush recently completed Northwest University’s School of Police Staff and Command. Forbush joined 23 other law enforcement students for the intensive ten-week long program; a program that prepares them for mid- and upper-level supervisory positions. The progressive coursework focuses on leadership and management, organizational behavior, employee relations, and contemporary policing, among other topics.

“We are committed to developing our employees at all levels. I commend Captain Forbush for his time and dedication in completing this upper-level command training. The Bellevue Police Department is fortunate to have quality leadership rising through the ranks,” said Chief Steve Mylett.

Captain Forbush has been with the Bellevue Police Department for 29 years and was promoted to the rank of Captain 18 months ago.
