 NARRATIVE

Officers investigated a residential burglary where the suspect(s) entered a home through a first level window. The home was unoccupied and for sale. The suspects ate food, stayed for an extended time frame then left taking the homeowner’s vehicle.  Nothing of value was taken (other than the car) indicating that the suspects were looking more for a place to stay. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers contacted the suspect for multiple moving violations that were indicative of a possible DUI driver. The officer contacted the driver and conducted a DUI investigation. The suspect arrested for DUI and driving with a suspended license.  He was released to a sober driver since it was his first DUI and advised he would be summonsed in the mail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers received a LOJACK hit and located a stolen vehicle out of King County in front of a residence. Officers impounded the vehicle and conducted a consent search. The vehicle was released to the registered owner and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers contacted the suspect for reckless driving on the freeway. The investigation developed into a DUI investigation. The suspected was arrested for DUI and was released to a sober driver since it was her first DUI. She was advised she would be summonsed in the mail.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect was following a victim south on Factoria Blvd after he left the movie theater.  The suspect punched the victim in the back of the head and demanded his cell phone, shoes, and the pin number to his cell phone.  Kent PD K9 responded, but the track was unsuccessful.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

The victim called her mother, who was out of state and 911 to report that she was afraid of her husband. The victim barricaded herself in a room and the suspect attempted to unlock the door with a knife. Probable cause was established for domestic violence malicious mischief and the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

An officer was flagged down by security to a vehicle that may have been involved in a disturbance at their property. The officer detained the vehicle and occupants for investigation. During the stop, the officer saw obvious signs of impairment on the driver. A DUI investigation commenced, and the driver was arrested for DUI and taken to jail.

An officer located the vehicle of a suspect felon wanted for a string of violent crimes in Kirkland. After calling for additional units, officers surrounded the vehicle and confirmed it was unoccupied. Officers called the subject’s room at a hotel and he surrendered to Kirkland police without incident.

Officers responded to a subject in a back yard with a weapon. The subject was running through other yards.  Officers located him with the weapon.  He was in crisis and officers transported him to the hospital.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect was seen entering the business without entering a code. The officer located the suspect as he exited, and he ran from officers but quickly gave up. Evidence was collected in the area where the suspect was located, as well as on his person. All the belongings that were dragged from the unit belonged to an Asian male. Management was contacted and confirmed that the suspect was not a tenant. The suspect arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Two subjects parked their stolen van in the parking garage walked into the mall. Patrol officers and Bikes responded, and the bike team watched the vehicle. The subjects returned to the vehicle, and as they were contacted both fled on foot.  The first subject was apprehended after he fled through downtown park and onto the roof of some businesses.  The subject was caught as she ran through the garage.  Detectives assisted and learned these subjects had committed locker thefts/prowls in Bothell earlier in the day. Both were arrested and booked into jail.

An officer stopped the suspect for a violation on a bike. She was detained for a warrant. A search produced suspected methamphetamines in her pocket. She processed for drugs and the warrant was put back into the system.

 NARRATIVE

A bike officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he had previously seen acting suspiciously in a store parking lot. During the stop, suspected drug paraphernalia was seen in the vehicle. The first subject was asked to step out of the vehicle and officers observed two brand new saws and battery packs at his feet. The subject agreed to a search of the car and officers located multiple grams of suspected heroin next to where the subject had been sitting.  The subject was arrested and booked into jail for drugs and additional charges are pending.  A second subject in the vehicle was released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

A subject drove into a business parking lot and began dumping garbage on the ground.  An employee approached the subject to find out what he was doing, and the subject punched the employee.  Other employees subdued the subject. The subject was yelling and screaming incoherently.  The subject was taken to the hospital. Assault charges were filed through the prosecutor’s office.

 NARRATIVE

The reporting party was house-sitting for his friend and noticed the front door glass frame was damaged.  The reporting party entered the residence and found that somebody had stretched the kitchen faucet house onto the kitchen floor and turned on the faucet.  Water had flooded the kitchen floor and ran into the basement causing severe water damage and mold.  Nothing of value appeared to be taken.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers stopped the suspect in the middle of Somerset Blvd on a corner “looking at the view” for an extended period while blocking traffic at the crest on a corner.  During the traffic stop, she failed to ID herself, rolled up her window, and drove off.  She failed to stop for 6 miles throughout south Bellevue, obeying traffic laws.  She was spike stripped, drove on a flat tire, then WSP took over on Coal Creek and used the PIT Maneuver at the 5800 block to disable her vehicle.  Once pinned in, she refused to exit the vehicle.  Her driver’s window was broken out and she was extracted from the vehicle.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect stole over $600 worth of merchandise and fled the store.  Loss prevention pursued him, and he struggled with them while being taken into custody.  No assault occurred and items were recovered.  Officers arrived on scene and took the male into custody for Theft.  The suspect was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The driver of a Porsche collided with a power pole. The driver was not impaired; however, the velocity of the collision caused the power pole to be broken in half and shutdown of the roadway.  The driver was arrested for reckless driving and advised he would be summonsed in the mail with a court date. Officers performed traffic control for several hours until the pole could be replaced.

An officer contacted a subject who was in Crossroads Park after it was closed.  He determined that the subject was in possession of alcohol and suspected drug paraphernalia.  The subject also had a felony warrant.  He was booked on the warrant without incident.
