 NARRATIVE

The reporting party was trying to sell furniture on Craigslist. Unknown subjects sent him 3 checks for well over the asking prices. The subjects requested the seller to take the amount owed and then put the remaining money in a cashier’s check and send it back. The reporting party was not out of any money or property.

An officer responded to a towing company for two recovered stolen vehicles, cases 19-62146 and 20-272.  The officer noted from his investigation that both vehicles were recovered at the same apartment complex. Detectives were notified.

NORCOM received a call from a distraught female.  Officers arrived on the scene and call for the crisis response team. Two and a half hours later, the female was taken into protective custody.

The victim reported a theft that occurred two weeks ago. The investigation revealed it was a domestic situation involving a theft.  The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the report of a theft that had just occurred at a store.  One of them located a vehicle that matched the description provided by the loss prevention officer.  It was determined that the suspect and the merchandise were in the vehicle.  It was also found that he is a convicted felon.  During a consent search of the vehicle, the property was recovered and returned to the store. He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

An officer conducted a traffic stop for a title violation.  The driver had a SeaTac warrant.  A search following the arrest revealed property from multiple other people.  He was booked into jail for the warrant.  The investigation is ongoing regarding the property.

 NARRATIVE

The victim called to report a burglary that occurred on 2/4/20 at 1730hours. The victim said nothing was taken but someone entered the residence while she was in the bedroom. The front door opened, and her dog ran to the door and she heard the door slam shortly after. When she checked the door, she realized her dog was outside of the apartment. She located the dog down the hallway by an exterior door facing north.

 NARRATIVE

An officer learned that a suspect slapped her friend in the face causing a minor injury. The altercation started when the victim failed to leave before the suspect woke up the next morning. The suspect was gone before police arrived. A summons was issued for the assault.

Police responded to a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, the officer determined that the suspect had concealed multiple items while in the store and exited the business without paying.  The suspect was arrested, and the officer learned the suspect had outstanding warrants out of Fife PD. The suspect was booked int jail.

Police stopped the suspect during a theft investigation.  The officer determined that the suspect had an outstanding, confirmed warrant out of BPD. She was arrested and a search revealed the suspect was in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia. She was booked into jail.

Policed stopped the suspect for a traffic violation and determined the driver was driving with a suspended license.  She was advised she would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

Officers investigated a malicious mischief complaint. After a brief argument for talking on the phone too loudly, the suspect left his apartment and kicked down his neighbor’s front door causing significant damage to the door frame. After the investigation which included conflicting stories, lack of independent witnesses and evidence, officers elected to summons the suspect.

A local plumber used his ex-employers Oregon contractor license to obtain a plumbing business permit from the City of Bellevue. The suspect, in turn, used his COB permit to obtain job contracts. The suspect’s permit fraud was discovered after customers, who were disappointed in his work looked into his background.

 NARRATIVE

Clyde Hill police located a stolen vehicle driving under the trestle on SE 8th St in Bellevue. BPD officers caught up to CHPD and initiated a felony stop. The driver and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.   The passenger was arrested on a warrant.  A third passenger was released. The vehicle was stolen in Port Angeles. A search of the vehicle netted shaved keys, stolen mail, and suspected drug items.

 NARRATIVE

Officers contacted the suspect during a traffic stop.  The investigating officer determined that the suspect had failed to lawfully transfer the title after purchasing his vehicle. The suspect was advised that he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

BPD K9s and their partners responded to the above location to assist Kirkland Police on a fleeing, dangerous felony suspect. After an extensive track, the suspect could not be located, however, he was identified by officers on the scene. Charges are pending.

The suspect stole beer from the store and ran from security and police in his wheelchair. Officers commandeered him and the wheelchair and arrested him. He lied about his name and also had 5 warrants. He was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the hospital due to reports the subject was fighting with the nursing staff.  The staff felt the subject was a danger to himself. He also had several warrants for his arrest.  Officers located the subject in the parking garage. He was non-compliant and threatened officers.  He was subdued and taken into protective custody.

 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the suspects during a theft investigation. The investigating officer determined that two suspects were working together, they selected items from the store and exited the business without paying for any of the merchandise. The first suspect was positively identified by witnesses on the scene. He was arrested.  The second suspect had outstanding felony warrants out of Seattle PD.  After his arrest, a search produced (.56) grams of methamphetamine and (.49) grams of heroin. Both suspects were booked into jail.

Police responded to a car prowl report. The victim returned to her vehicle and discovered the front passenger side window was smashed out and personal items were missing. The investigation is ongoing.

A victim contacted police to report a car prowl in progress. The suspect was observed illegally entering a vehicle and taking items. Upon arrival, the officer observed that the victim’s front passenger side window was smashed out. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to a theft report. While investigating the incident, the officer observed a suspect return to the location and was identified by the victim. The officer arrested the suspect and processed her at the station.  She was released to her husband, charges are pending.

A victim called 911 to report that his vehicle had been stolen and that he was currently tracking it via GPS southbound on I405 towards Renton.  The registered owner still had the keys to the truck and had it locked overnight.  The vehicle was tracked and recovered by Kent Police at an apartment complex in Kent.  No suspects were in the area of the truck.

A suspect refused to leave the store and used vulgar language. After being given numerous chances to leave, the suspect continued to refuse. An officer placed the suspect under arrest, and he resisted. He was detained and taken to jail.

An unknown person lit the contents of two trash cans on fire at the Downtown transit center. Nobody was hurt and there was no structural damage. Metro is reviewing the video and will get back to the officer with results.

 NARRATIVE

It was reported that the victim dropped his 2005 Bentley off with the valet.  Another male behind him dropped off a rented Hyundai around the same time.  When the victim came back to retrieve his vehicle, he discovered the driver of the Hyundai was given the keys to the Bentley and drove off with it with another female.  The “owner” of the Bentley hadn’t registered the vehicle for 2 years and was driving on a trip permit and had no documentation.  Once the true owner is identified, the owner can sign for the stolen vehicle and it will be entered.

A victim reported she was walking down the sidewalk when the suspect jumped out of the above vehicle and pulled her purse off her shoulder, pulling her down to the ground and injuring her knee.  The suspect made off with the victim’s purse and contents.  The investigation is ongoing.
