An officer investigated a robbery that took place at the store. The suspect responded to an online ad to buy an I-Phone. When the suspect met with the victim for the transaction, the suspect provided the victim with an envelope (presumed to have money in it), then promptly took the cell phone and ran out of the store. The victim met two males and a female at the gas station at 01:30 on Saturday am. He gave them a ride home but first stopped at a parking lot where he and the males drank a significant amount of alcohol. The victim woke up three hours later on the sidewalk as his vehicle was driving away. During the investigation, the officer recognized a house where the suspect often hangs out in the area. The officer went to the house and located the stolen vehicle parked four houses down. The vehicle was recovered. |

NARRATIVE
A suspect and victim were drinking together when the victim states the suspect suddenly punched the victim in the face and stole a large knife that he had on his person. The suspect then proceeded to assault the victim and steal several personal items at knifepoint. The suspect fled. Through a quick investigation, the suspect and his vehicle were identified. Bothell PD responded to the suspect’s last known address and found his car. When the suspect returned to the vehicle, he was detained by Bothell PD. A knife was recovered in the vehicle. The suspect was booked into jail.
