Robbery

An officer investigated a robbery that took place at the store. The suspect responded to an online ad to buy an I-Phone. When the suspect met with the victim for the transaction, the suspect provided the victim with an envelope (presumed to have money in it), then promptly took the cell phone and ran out of the store. The investigation is ongoing.

While investigating a fraud crime, an officer discovered that his fraud suspect also had multiple warrants. The suspect was found at his place of employment. Officers developed an arrest plan and took the suspect into custody without incident. He was booked into jail on the warrants. The fraud investigation continues.

A previously trespassed subject was in the Crossroads Mall.  Officers located the subject in the mall and arrested him for trespass. He was booked into jail.

A school received a bomb threat stating to evacuate the school in 30 minutes or the bomb would detonate.  The school evacuated and the bomb squad swept the school.  No devices were located.

An employee of the victim business wired over $40,000 to an illegitimate bank account supplied by an imposter email posing as a verified customer.  The victim business contacted the bank to attempt a wire recall.  The status of the recall is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity. While en route, dispatchers advised that the registered owner of one of the vehicles had warrants out for their arrest, which was the above suspect. The officer arrived on the scene, contacted the suspect, and arrested him on the outstanding Sammamish PD warrants.

Officers contacted the suspect after a call.  It was found that the suspect had a warrant out of Kent for False Statements and Drug Paraphernalia with $5200 bail.  He was turned over to Kent PD.

Officers responded to the above location after a caller reported people parked in front of the caller’s residence smoking marijuana.  This is a habitual problem at this location.  Upon contact, the suspect was found to be in physical control of his vehicle while smoking marijuana.  A DUI investigating officer responded and arrested the suspect.

Officers responded to a welfare check of a male driving while possibly under the influence of drugs.  Officers located the suspect and found he was driving with his child in the car.  The suspect was arrested for DUI and booked into jail.

Bike officers contacted the subject outside of a store and determined he had misdemeanor warrants out of Redmond, total bail $5,000.  The subject was taken into custody and a loaded needle was located under his backpack which was sitting next to him on the ground.  Paraphernalia charges are pending.

A suspect stole merchandise from the store by stuffing items down his pants then running out of the building.  He was wearing very descriptive clothes.  An officer located the suspect in the area wearing the same clothing.  The suspect was arrested, booked into jail, and the stolen items were recovered.

Officers witnessed a suspect’s vehicle driving through a parking lot.   A check showed that she had a Kent PD DUI Warrant, no bail, out for her arrest.  She was stopped, arrested and transported to Kent PD.

The victim reported that a male violated a No Contact Order by sending a non-threatening text message.  The male suspect was contacted.  A summons was forwarded to the prosecutor.

The victim reported that his vehicle was stolen with his pet Corgi inside. Detectives developed information about a possible suspect.  The pet Corgi was recovered.  King County Sheriff’s officers later recovered the vehicle.

An officer contacted a subject at the mall during a theft investigation. The officer determined that the subject had an outstanding warrant. Following the arrest, a search produced suspected drug paraphernalia. The subject was booked into jail.

A suspect stole a $1,700 laptop computer.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect contacted the victim through a work Twitter portal violating his known protection order. Detectives assisted in the investigation and are reviewing the Twitter feed. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance with a male suspect being described as out of control and breaking items inside.  The suspect also had a felony warrant out for his arrest. Officers encountered the suspect inside the residence, and he attempted to flee. An officer went to control the suspect and he assaulted the officer. The suspect was subdued with a taser deployment.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation. The investigating officer determined that the suspect was driving with a suspended license and was operating his vehicle on an invalid trip permit. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

An officer located an abandoned stolen while on patrol. The investigating officer recovered two stolen firearms from within the vehicle while conducting a consent search of the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft. The investigating officer determined that the victim last saw the vehicle early Friday morning. The investigation is ongoing.

A suspect stole clothing from the store and was apprehended by loss prevention. The suspect provided a false name as was unable to be identified at the scene. The suspect was arrested.  During the booking process, his identity was revealed as well as the fact that the suspect had an outstanding warrant. He was booked into jail.

While on a call at the mall, an officer noticed a male he had previously trespassed, that refused to identify himself.  The officer contacted the subject and arrested him for trespass and positively identified him, issuing a new trespass under his correct name.  The suspect was escorted off the property and released with a summons.

Officers responded to the report of an unwanted subject with a weapon.  One of the responding officers saw the subject nearby and confronted him.  The subject was taken into custody without incident and with the assistance of additional officers. He was booked into jail.

A suspect stole approximately $900 in merchandise. The merchandise was recovered after exiting the store and prior to the suspect fleeing in the passenger seat of a gray sedan.  The officer obtained some investigative leads for follow up.

An unknown male threatened to send out explicit photos of a victim if she did not give him money. The suspect was only known to the victim over the computer on social media platforms.  The investigation is ongoing.

Car Theft/Recovery

The victim met two males and a female at the gas station at 01:30 on Saturday am. He gave them a ride home but first stopped at a parking lot where he and the males drank a significant amount of alcohol. The victim woke up three hours later on the sidewalk as his vehicle was driving away. During the investigation, the officer recognized a house where the suspect often hangs out in the area. The officer went to the house and located the stolen vehicle parked four houses down. The vehicle was recovered.

A suspect and victim were drinking together when the victim states the suspect suddenly punched the victim in the face and stole a large knife that he had on his person.  The suspect then proceeded to assault the victim and steal several personal items at knifepoint. The suspect fled.  Through a quick investigation, the suspect and his vehicle were identified. Bothell PD responded to the suspect’s last known address and found his car.  When the suspect returned to the vehicle, he was detained by Bothell PD.  A knife was recovered in the vehicle.  The suspect was booked into jail.
