Sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) cut the wiring to street lights along the north side of NE 33rd PL starting at the 10900-block heading east. The victim and suspect met inside of a store to purchase a cell phone that the victim had advertised on Craigslist. The suspect gave the victim an envelope containing paper and once he had the phone, he ran out of the store. NARRATIVE
Police responded to the Downtown Park in reference to a welfare check on the suspect, “crawling through the Park Area near the playground”, obviously in medical distress. Upon arrival with Bellevue Fire Department medics, officers discovered that the suspect was a respondent in a no-contact order and was possibly associated with the petitioner’s vehicle that appeared to be abandoned nearby. The suspect was transported to the hospital due to the serious nature of his medical issues. A short while later, Redmond PD contacted the investigating officer, about a possible violation of a no-contact order and burglary occurring in their jurisdiction. The BPD officer determined that the evidence in Redmond’s burglary implicated the suspect at the hospital. The investigating officer contacted the victim and discovered that at approximately 1630 hours today at her place of employment in Bellevue, the suspect contacted the victim, assaulted her, held her captive and stole her vehicle. The investigation is ongoing. |

Police responded to a 2-vehicle traffic collision. Upon arrival, officers determined that the entire incident was caught on traffic cameras. The suspect driver was seen speeding and driving aggressively. He lost control of his vehicle and collided into the other driver forcing her off the road. There were no injuries reported by either driver or passengers. Probable cause was established, the suspect driver was arrested and released to a family member.

A female victim’s co-workers contacted police because the victim was at work and had a stab wound to her stomach. The incident happened in Kent and Kent PD investigated. Kent PD advised they had probable cause Assault 2 and Unlawful Imprisonment. Several officers went to the above location to arrest the suspect who worked on the 2nd level in the food court. The suspect had fled the location just prior to police arriving. Kent PD was advised. |
