 NARRATIVE

A husband and wife were involved in a dispute because the husband felt she was making too much noise while he was trying to sleep.  He grabbed her hair and pinned her down during the altercation.  She scratched him to get him off of her, and he responded by holding his hand over her mouth so she could not make noise, making it difficult for her to breathe.  She suffered minor injuries and he was placed under arrest after officers located him in their vehicle nearby.  The suspect was booked into jail without incident.

The caller’s husband passed away and she located a WWII Japanese grenade while going through his belongings.  The grenade was x-rayed and deemed not to be an explosive hazard.  It was booked for destruction by the Bomb Squad.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the residence to assist King County Animal Control units who were checking on the welfare of several animals.  Upon arrival, officers contacted the resident who is known from numerous prior PD contacts.  The resident was uncooperative and refused to open a horse trailer that was parked in front of the residence.  Eventually, Animal Control units forced entry and discovered a deceased horse.  Animal Control developed probable cause and the resident was arrested for Animal Cruelty and transported to jail by BPD.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to the area after several callers reported some type of physical disturbance between two male subjects.  While officers were en-route, a victim/witness also called in and reported a robbery had occurred and a victim had been thrown from a vehicle.  The known suspect had fled and there were minor injuries.  Officers arrived and located the victim and witnesses.  Probable Cause was established for the suspect and detectives were notified.  Hours later, detectives located, arrested, and booked the suspect in jail.

Officers responded to the area after multiple calls came in regarding a subject who appeared to be heavily intoxicated and attempting to strike passing vehicles.  Officers arrived and located the subject who was agitated and aggressive. The subject was detained and taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Two subjects were involved in a verbal altercation. It was determined that they are no longer dating but have children together.  There was no crime established.  The incident was documented in a case report.

A fourteen-year-old called to report a physical disturbance with his mother.  Both parties’ statements were consistent with each other.  The officers determined that the mother used physical discipline permitted by RCW.  No probable cause of a crime was established.

Another jurisdiction called to report the possible location of a seventeen-year-old reported juvenile runaway.  The juvenile was located and expressed safety concerns if returned home.  Custody of the juvenile was transferred to CPS.

A victim reported non-consensual sexual intercourse during a meeting with a potential employer. The victim said she refused sex with the suspect, said “no” many times, and told him she didn’t want to have sex with him.   The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

A caller dialed 911 to report his dad and brother pushed him out of his grandmother’s house. The reporting party was asked to leave the home after getting into an argument with his brother, but he refused to leave. Their father pushed the reporting party outside to avoid the situation from escalating between the brothers. Nobody was injured.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a Weapons Complaint/Assault. Upon arrival, investigating officers determined that the intoxicated suspect had confronted several of his neighbors at gunpoint, would not listen to their statements that they lived in the condo next door, and threatened to shoot them. Officers located the suspect, he was arrested and booked into jail.  Police seized the firearm and booked it into evidence.

Officers contacted the suspect following a single-vehicle collision. A witness stated that (3) adult females left the scene after crashing their vehicle. The suspect driver located several blocks away and was arrested.  She was booked into BPD Holding Facility and later released to a sober family member.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a commercial burglary report. A concerned citizen contacted police after observing the damaged door to the business. Patrol set a perimeter and K9 initiated a track, however, they lost track of the scent in a parking lot several blocks away. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to a call of an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, investigating officers determined that the suspect was refusing to leave the location despite being asked repeatedly by staff. The suspect was arrested, transported, and booked into jail.

The suspect attempted to hit the victim security officer while being escorted off the property and called the victim a racially derogatory term in the process.  Officers were unable to locate or identify the suspect.  His photo was emailed to Patrol.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect went to visit his children who were with their mother.  When the visit ended, he became angry and slapped the victim across her face, causing her head to strike the door. The victim had pain from both blows and desires prosecution.  The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival and was not located.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect arrived at the victim’s residence in violation of a no-contact order.  He grabbed the victim by both arms shoving her, causing her to fall to the ground and sustaining several visible injuries.  The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.  The police attempted to contact him at his last known address in another jurisdiction but were unable to locate him there.  The case was forwarded to the prosecutor for the felony order violation and Assault 4 DV.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect grabbed his girlfriend by the arm and pulled her.  He then put her in a headlock to try and make her go sing Karaoke with him.  She stated both instances caused her physical pain and fear.  The victim pulled away from the suspect as two bystanders intervened.  They took the victim home to a nearby city, where another assault and malicious mischief occurred.  The suspect was booked into jail for the two cases.

The reporting party set up a meeting with a suspect who was selling possible unreported stolen tools on an online marketplace.  Officers contacted all parties.  No one was able to prove ownership at the scene.  The investigation is ongoing.

Officer contacted the suspect for moving violation. The driver had an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

A victim called 911 requested PD, then hung up. Officers arrived and determined there was probable cause of Malicious Mischief. When the suspect was taken into custody, he became combative and actively resisted officers. He was eventually placed in the back of a patrol vehicle where he began kicking the inside door. He was eventually taken to jail, and further investigation determined the suspect also assaulted family members.

 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the suspect after responding to a report of an assault. Officers determined that extremely intoxicated suspect had assaulted his adult daughter during an argument. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
