NARRATIVE
Officers responded to the report of an alarm and found a forced entry into the front of the business and observed blood at the scene. There was also a large piece of tire tread lying in the parking lot entrance. A few blocks south, a perimeter officer heard remote security making announcements over a speaker for a subject in a van to leave the property. A short time later, a van with no lights on was seen pulling out of the business and driving southbound out of sight. Another officer located and stopped the van. Officers returned the vehicle returned to the business and noticed it was missing a tire and that the driver had a noticeable cut. It was determined the driver was the burglary suspect and had also stolen the van from the parking lot. The suspect also had warrants. He was arrested and booked into jail without incident. The burglary investigation is ongoing. |

The police contacted the suspects for a traffic violation and determined that the passenger matched the suspect’s description in a recent prowler call in the area. Officers also determined that suspect had multiple, outstanding and warrants out of several jurisdictions for the crimes of DUI, Theft, and Drugs. The driver also had an outstanding warrant out of Kent PD, plus the vehicle title had failed to be lawfully transferred upon sale. The driver was released and advised she would be summoned in the mail with a court date. The passenger was booked into jail. |

When the victim arrived at the hotel, he exited his vehicle as did his dog. The dog (Boston Terrier) ran up to the suspect, who attempted to pet the dog. The owner of a shop called in, stating he observed two subjects burglarizing his store. They fled the area in a silver vehicle before officers arrived. Multiple burglaries were discovered in the complex. While conducting area checks, the suspect vehicle was located. The driver refused to stop for officers, then drove down a dead-end road. Upon arriving at the end, they both fled on foot. The driver ran away but fell while trying to jump a fence and was subsequently taken into custody. He was cooperative and admitted to tonight’s burglaries as well as several yesterday. A K9 track was conducted but did not locate the second suspect. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant. The investigation is ongoing. |

An altercation started at the victim’s house over money owed between the parties. The victim did not want this disturbance at his residence, so he fled the area in his vehicle. The two suspects followed him. They chased the victim, rammed his vehicle twice, then shot the vehicle with BB pellets approximately 30 times. The victim’s vehicle was damaged from the collisions as well as the pellets, including a shattered window. Officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a felony stop, both subjects complied. They went to jail for Assault 2, Malicious Mischief, warrants, drugs, and suspected paraphernalia. No one was injured. |
