 NARRATIVE

A 20-40-year-old female was observed leaving with a basket full of groceries without paying. Loss prevention contacted the suspect, and she swung a bag at the employee, causing no injury. The suspect fled in a maroon vehicle driven by a male. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Bike Officers observed a stolen vehicle out of Issaquah drive past them and observed the suspect exit the driver seat of the vehicle and walk away on foot. The suspect was found and arrested at the 1400 block of 156th Ave NE. Burglary tools were found on the suspect’s person. He was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Officers investigated a theft in progress involving 4 subjects, 2 males and 2 females. All subjects fled the store before officers arrived. Two of the suspects returned to a waiting vehicle in the area. An officer contacted them and detained them for theft without incident. The vehicle was stolen. Security followed a third suspect and was eventually detained by officers on scene. Officers on scene were able to corroborate statements and evidence and determined the last suspect was the driver of the stolen vehicle. That suspect was arrested for Possession Stolen Vehicle and booked into jail. The other two were booked into jail on theft charges and one on a warrant. The car’s registered owner responded and took possession of the recovered vehicle.

Police responded to a shoplifter in custody and determined that loss prevention observed the suspect concealing merchandise on her person and attempting to exit the store without paying. She was arrested and searched.  Officers located approximately (12) suspected narcotic/pills, packaging material, and (2) Credit Cards/Access Devices from her person. She was booked into jail.

A concerned citizen flagged officers down because of a suspect driving recklessly and without care. Officers contacted the suspect and observed that he was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to drugs. Officers initiated a DUI investigation.  The suspect was arrested and processed for DUI. After processing, the suspect was released to his sober girlfriend.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a report of a USPS mailbox sitting in the middle of the road. The investigating officer observed that the mailbox appeared to have been ripped out of its concrete footings and located the original location. The mailbox had not been breached. The officer reported the box to USPS for pickup. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

A subject was seen climbing 20 feet up a tree with no shoes on. Officers recognized him and were eventually able to get him to come down the tree. He was cold and cut up, but otherwise fine. He was transported to the hospital.

Bike Officers were on a direct enforcement due to complaints about criminal activity in the area. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with two subjects. Both the driver and passenger had warrants out of Issaquah. Suspected drug paraphernalia was seen inside the vehicle. The driver did not consent to search. The vehicle was towed to the station for a search warrant.

 NARRATIVE

The Bike Team was on a direct enforcement and saw the suspect driving away from the location. The suspect had a Bellevue warrant for drug paraphernalia. The officer attempted to get behind the vehicle to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver drove recklessly and parked in the parking lot next to the above location. The suspect was contacted and arrested for reckless driving. After obtaining consent to search the vehicle, suspected drug paraphernalia and metal knuckles were found inside the vehicle. The suspect was advised he’d be summoned in the mail and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

K9 officer and his partner responded to an armed robbery that just occurred and conducted a track from the business and lost the scent at a nearby parking lot, indicating that the suspects most likely fled in a staged vehicle. Approximately an hour later, another armed robbery occurred at a similar business in the city of Seattle. It was reported that the circumstances of the Kirkland robbery suspects matched the Seattle robbery suspects.

Loss prevention flagged down an officer after a suspect stole $1085 worth of product and fled. The officer located the suspect and detained her for theft.  She provided a false ID, and the suspect drug paraphernalia was located as well on her person. After the suspect was arrested, several IDs and credit cards were found, in addition to stolen mail.  She was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect stole a bag then fled the scene.  When confronted by lost prevention, the suspect dropped the bag and shoved a loss prevention officer into a wall.  Loss prevention subdued the suspect, and an officer made the arrest. Suspected drug paraphernalia was located on the suspect, who also had numerous warrants.

While following up on a burglary investigation, the officer developed probable cause for burglary and determined that the suspect had an outstanding warrant. The suspect was contacted at her home at the request of a family member and taken into custody without issue. She was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and determined that he had an outstanding, confirmed Felony warrant out of Seattle PD for Dangerous Drugs. Following the arrest, officers obtained consent to the search vehicle and netted 2.37 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 2.04 grams of heroin, and paraphernalia. The suspect was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

An officer observed a stolen vehicle driving in the downtown area.  When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, it took off southbound Ion -405.  The officer did not pursue the vehicle but later found it again stuck in traffic on southbound I-405 near Coal Creek Parkway.  The stolen vehicle exited at the Newport exit, then proceeded to flee again northbound on I-405, again no pursuit.  A short time later, several female passengers called 911 to report they had been in the vehicle and that the driver wouldn’t let them out when they saw the police vehicle.  According to the passengers, the driver had been at a store stealing before being seen by police in the stolen vehicle.  The officer is continuing to investigate based on the new information.

A son assaulted his mother during an argument. There were no significant injuries, however, the mother was scared. The son was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect stole over $700 worth of items from the store and ran when confronted by loss prevention. Officers located him walking the 500 block of 120th AVE NE and took him into custody. The suspect admitted to the theft. The store recovered the property.

Two suspects had a shopping list and loaded their cart with over $1200 in items before trying to run past loss prevention and out to their truck. The suspects left the cart and fled in their truck. The officer found the truck on 120th and stopped it. Both suspects were identified and taken into custody.

 NARRATIVE

Suspects driving an SUV with an open cargo trailer stole a DeWalt saw in a burglary in Bellevue. The victim obtained photographs of the suspect vehicle & trailer.  The plate on the trailer turned out to be an unreported stolen out of Kent.  The suspect vehicle & trailer were reportedly seen in burglaries in Kirkland and Redmond.  The suspect’s luck ran out in Redmond when they were stopped, detained, and arrested by Redmond PD on crimes in that city.  The DeWalt saw is visible in the suspect’s vehicle.
