A 34-year-old man is in custody for investigation of homicide following a shooting at a Bellevue Tavern. Shortly after 10:00 PM, officers responded to a call in the 900 block of 108th Ave NE. Witnesses reported that someone had been shot at Sam’s Tavern and that the suspect had fled the area.
Officers located a female with a gunshot wound and immediately began life-saving measures. Once the scene was clear, Bellevue Fire crews rendered aid, but unfortunately, the victim passed. The exact relationship between the victim and suspect wasn’t immediately clear, but it is a domestic violence situation.
Following an extensive search, the suspect was located and arrested without incident just before midnight. The investigation is ongoing.
