 NARRATIVE

Two males provided unreliable and conflicting statements regarding an assault between them.  One male had a cut to his right hand, and the other male had been sprayed with pepper spray.  Neither weapon was located.  Officers determined that both suspects had VICE involvement.  The case was referred to the prosecutor and VICE Investigations.

An employee reported that the lock on the fence was cut, and a vehicle that was impounded from a collision the previous day had been stolen. The officer contacted the vehicle’s registered owner, but she was not aware that her vehicle was missing. The vehicle was entered into the system as stolen. The case was forwarded to detectives.

A husband and wife were arguing over the husband’s infidelity, and the wife spat on the husband while he attempted to sleep.  The wife was arrested and booked into jail.

A subject called to report a robbery.  After police arrived, the suspect admitted to paying $1,000 for sex with a female.  After the payment, the female left with the money.  The subject provided text messages with the female.  The case was forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

The suspect stole $50 worth of beer and was contacted by officers.  During the search after his arrest, the suspect was found to be in possession of checks not belonging to him, as well as drugs. A Blake referral was made, and charges were filed with the prosecutor.

 NARRATIVE

A victim needed housing for the night and requested to stay at a friend’s home. The victim overdosed on heroin in the bedroom.  Officers arrived on scene and administered two nasal Narcan sprays and CPR.  The victim regained consciousness within a couple of minutes and was transported to the hospital.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a noise disturbance and heard a loud noise coming from an above unit.  The female answered the door holding a sledgehammer above her shoulder and accused officers of being imposters.  The female was uncooperative and in a mental-emotional crisis. There was no one else present in the unit.  The female struck walls inside her apartment and later came back out holding the sledgehammer, encouraging police to leave faster.

 NARRATIVE

Store employees reported a subject in the store with a machete. Initially, it was unclear what the subject was doing with the machete, but employees were alarmed and called police. The subject left the store before officers arrived.  There was no probable cause established at the store. However, an officer was in the process of contacting the subject nearby, and the officer observed an object concealed in his waistband. The subject removed the machete and dropped it on the ground. The machete was recovered by police and based on the circumstances and his level of intoxication; the subject was summoned. The subject said displaying a machete in Mexico is legal, so he felt the rules were the same here.

The suspect used a fake ID to cash a fake check. He waited around long enough for police to arrive, and he was arrested.  He also had a DV warrant and was booked on it.

The reporting party accused the suspect of stealing out of her apartment. The suspect pushed and yelled at the reporting party. There is a long-standing issue with both parties. Neither wanted to press charges.

 NARRATIVE

Unknown suspects drove by the victim’s house and shot a pellet gun at her windows. The victim only saw a glimpse of the car. The house is on a dead-end road and not easily accessible. A pellet broke one window. The victim said she had no idea who would have done this.

Officers assisted detectives with a High-Risk Warrant Service and Mobile Arrest of two suspects. One suspect was stopped on a traffic stop in Kent and taken into custody without incident. The second suspect was stopped in an Uber in Kent and arrested without incident.

Police responded to the above location in reference to a disturbance in progress and determined that loss prevention and security were struggling to detain a fleeing suspect. Officers determined that the suspect had exited the business with approximately $850 worth of merchandise without paying. Officers established probable cause and arrested the suspect. The suspect was advised that she would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to the above location in reference to an Assist to Bellevue Fire Dept. Upon arrival, officers determined that Bellevue Fire was dealing with a structure fire that had started in the bathroom. There’s no indication of arson or suspicious circumstances.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a call of a theft in progress and determined that the suspect had taken alcohol from the store without paying. Officers established probable cause, located and detained the suspect without incident. A witness positively identified the suspect. He was arrested, searched, and advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

Bellevue Police officers and K9 responded to assist Clyde Hill PD on a high-risk stop with an occupied stolen vehicle. The occupants of the stolen vehicle were detained without incident.

The reporting party advised the officer that a female suspect entered the store and stole $300 worth of baby formula. The suspect got into a vehicle and left the scene. The investigation is still ongoing in this case.

 NARRATIVE

The reporting party advised the officer that an unknown suspect had come into their parking lot and stole one of their trailers. He advised that the trailer was chained up. He told the officer that the suspect had cut the padlock chain and stole the vehicle. The officer found video of the suspect’s vehicle. This investigation is ongoing. The trailer was entered into the system as stolen.

 NARRATIVE

On 9-13-21, a suspect broke into the victim’s apartment and physically assaulted her. During the assault, he choked her to the point where she could no longer breathe. The victim suffered bruising on her left hip, shoulder, and arms. She also sustained a head injury but would not go to the doctor. An attempt was made to locate the suspect in Seattle, but no luck. Charges will be sent to the prosecutor’s office.

 NARRATIVE

The registered owner of a vehicle being impounded off private property by a tow company had an altercation with the driver of the tow truck over the drop fee. The registered owner believed he was quoted one price but charged a much higher fee. The argument escalated to where the tow driver’s wife sprayed the registered owner with pepper spray. There was no visible injury to either party, and he refused treatment at the scene. Neither party wished to prosecute.

Officers saw the subject’s vehicle through the week and observed that the suspect had a Kirkland PD DUI Warrant.  Today, officers saw the suspect exit their location and walk to his car.  He was taken into custody at his vehicle without incident and transported to Kirkland PD where he was booked on his warrant.

 NARRATIVE

A suspect stole a purse before noon at the mall. He was reported to be in the area, and officers located and contacted him. Probable cause had not yet been established, and the suspect fled on foot, obstructing a police investigation. When probable cause was established, the suspect was re-contacted as he was fleeing westbound on NE 8th St. The suspect then ran from officers and was detained a short while later when he was corralled at a bus stop. The victim’s property was recovered from the suspect, evidence of ID Theft was in the suspect’s pocket, and the victim’s credit cards were located in a yard he had run through.  Once positively ID, officers learned the suspect had a DOC Escape Warrant.  The suspect then slammed his head into a partition and cut his forehead.  Bellevue Fire treated and cleared him.  He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on the warrant, and charges will be sent to the prosecutor.

Police responded to a car prowl and determined that unknown suspect(s) had broken out the victim vehicle’s windows and stole approximately $2000+ worth of property from the car. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress and determined intoxicated roommates had decided to “wrestle” to resolve their differences. When matters got out of hand, they called the police. While investigating, officers observed evidence of an injury on the uncooperative victim and determined that none of the occupants was willing to cooperate with the investigation. Probable cause was established, the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to a two-vehicle collision and observed that the suspect was obviously impaired due to the consumption of intoxicants and driving. The driver of vehicle two was transported to the hospital. Officers conducted a DUI Investigation and established probable cause. The suspect was arrested, transported to booking and processed for DUI.

Police responded to a residential burglary report and determined that unknown suspect(s) had smashed out the rear glass door to make entry into the residence. The victim stated that he and his wife were out of town visiting family. The victim could not locate anything stolen or missing from his residence. The investigation is ongoing.
