While on routine patrol, an officer observed a truck drive past him at a high rate of speed and then heard the vehicle crash. When the officer came around the corner, he observed three suspects standing outside of the vehicle. Officers discovered the vehicle had been stolen out of Issaquah on October 28 and different plates had been put on the vehicle. One suspect had a felony warrant and was booked into jail. Another suspect was arrested for false statements and given a summons. The third suspect was determined to be the driver and impaired. He was arrested for DUI and booked into jail. |

A search following the arrest netted burglary tools, identification and credit cards in the names of other people. |

Police responded to a call of a hit-and-run collision with injury that had just occurred. An officer located the suspect vehicle nearby and initiated a traffic stop. Upon contact, the officer determined that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to obvious alcohol consumption. Following a DUI investigation, probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested. Witnesses on the scene of the collision identified him as the suspect driver. Due to the suspect’s high level of intoxication and the nature of his numerous crimes, he was booked into jail. |

While on patrol, an officer observed the suspect on a bike within the complex acting suspicious and furtive. Upon turning around to get a better look at the suspect, the officer observed that the suspect had fled from the location. Since this location has recently experienced a high number of burglaries, the officer continued to search and found the suspect hiding in some bushes. He was in possession of a package that was not in his name. The officer also observed that the suspect matched the description of the burglary suspect thought to be targeting the area. The suspect was found to have multiple confirmed warrants out for his arrest, including a $6000 assault warrant out of Bellevue. The suspect was booked into jail. The package was returned to its rightful owner. The investigation is ongoing. |
