Bellevue police arrested a 26-year-old suspected drug dealer, confiscated numerous suspected drugs and more than $5300 in cash. While responding to a separate call, an officer noticed a white Dodge Challenger parked and running, with its lights on and a man asleep in the driver’s seat. The officer approached and turned the car off, then woke up the suspect. Once identified, the officer learned the suspect had two warrants out for his arrest.

He was arrested, then searched before being placed in the patrol car. In his pockets, officers found well over 100 suspected fentanyl pills, black-tar heroin, methamphetamine, crystal meth, small empty plastic bags used for distribution, and $5320, mainly in 100-dollar bills. The suspect was also in possession of another person’s social security card and boater safety card. The 2015 Dodge Challenger was also reported as stolen.
The suspect was arrested without incident, and after he was medically cleared due to admitted heroin use, he was booked into jail.
