Detectives arrested a 44-year-old Bellevue resident after an anonymous tip flagging suspicious activity at the house in the Overlake area. The tip led to a lengthy investigation that uncovered a large-scale marijuana grow operation.



Detectives teamed up with the Washington State Patrol and the Department of Ecology and served a warrant at the home on Wednesday, January 26. The 44-year-old man was arrested at the door. When officers searched the home, they recovered more than 300 marijuana plants in various stages of development. Approximately 340 pounds of marijuana was destroyed.
