 NARRATIVE

The reporting party noticed today that someone had cut the catalytic converter from his car. He reviewed his security cameras and saw that on 1/10, at about 4:50 am, two males entered his driveway with a Sawzall. One male went under the car, and the other stands guard and is seen pointing a gun at the front door. They left in an unknown vehicle.

The victim reported being in her underwear in a changing room and seeing a cell phone appear under the fitting room door for a few seconds. The victim reported the incident about thirty minutes after it occurred.

 NARRATIVE

One suspect distracted the victim at the store while another suspect stole her wallet from her shopping cart. The suspects then successfully racked up over $16,000 in fraudulent charges. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

The reporting party called 911 about three subjects pulling into a gated garage with their vehicle license plate covered with a piece of paper.  Parking was for residents or paid for retail.  Upon contact, one suspect was found holding a package from the victim, taken from an open mailroom in the apartment complex.  The vehicle’s registered owner was arrested for theft and obscuring his plate. The third suspect was arrested for a Bellevue warrant.  Officers received consent to search the car and located a second package from the apartments along with numerous catalytic converter theft tools, numerous license plates, and suspected drug paraphernalia.  All three suspects were booked into jail.

As officers responded to a burglary alarm, they learned traffic cameras showed a white sedan quickly leaving the parking lot at the time of the alarm.  The front glass door had a chip, and a brick was found on the ground.

 NARRATIVE

Officers were in the apartment complex for an unrelated call and located a vehicle that had eluded officers several nights earlier.  The vehicle was parked nose in, and officers walked up to it believing it was unoccupied.  Upon contacting the vehicle, they found it occupied by the suspect, who was in the process of consuming suspected narcotics. The suspect currently has numerous warrants and is a suspect for a Burglary 1st Degree, Rape 1st Degree, and Assault 1st Degree in Redmond a week earlier.  The suspect began to make furtive movements, and officers opened the door to stop his movements and detain him.  He then turned the vehicle on and quickly backed up, nearly striking an officer and another vehicle that was occupied. The suspect then hit a rockery and pulled between two patrol vehicles, hitting both, causing damage.  Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

 NARRATIVE

Officers were dispatched to a 911 call where a female reported striking her boyfriend, then hung up. Officers located the couple in an RV on the old railroad tracks.  The couple initially refused to come out but eventually did. The female was arrested for striking her boyfriend, who had a cut on his face below his left eye. She was booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

After hearing a customer and one of his employees yelling at each other regarding some work done on a vehicle, the owner went into the garage.  While all three were discussing the work, the suspect refused to go into the boss’s office, so he pulled a gun out and placed it on the table in between them.  The suspect fled the area before police arrived, and the victim does not desire additional investigation by the police and is only asking the suspect to be trespassed.

 NARRATIVE

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle with the occupants passed out inside. When officers arrived, the occupants were indeed passed out, and they learned the car was stolen out of Oregon.  The driver was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

While officers were investigating a burglary, it was discovered that another residence’s crawl space had been burglarized, and a bicycle was stolen. A tenant of the house also had a bicycle stolen from the patio. Some items, including a suitcase and a tool bag, were located at the scene that the victim said belonged to a neighbor. The investigation is ongoing.

 NARRATIVE

Four suspects were playing with traffic cones in a parking garage when a maintenance employee told them to stop messing around. As the subjects got into two separate vehicles to leave the garage, one suspect pulled up next to the victim, pepper-sprayed her and then drove off.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a disturbance at a local establishment. When they arrived, they learned the suspect had thrown a rock at a vehicle causing damage. The victim and witnesses were intimidated by the suspect’s behavior, and the victim wanted to prosecute. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers responded to a shoplifter in custody who had been using a magnet to disable sensors, attempting to steal $180 in merchandise. She also had a confirmed felony warrant. She was arrested and transported to jail.

 NARRATIVE

Both parties are in an on-and-off relationship and rent a room together.  After an argument the day before, the suspect stated she was leaving. Tonight, she arrived back and tried to enter the bedroom window, but the victim locked it and told her good night.  She went to an exterior window and broke it out and climbed inside.  The suspect fled before police arrived. She will be summoned in the mail.

 NARRATIVE

An officer located a stolen vehicle leaving the parking and followed it to Issaquah before attempting a stop. The vehicle fled on Hwy 900, and the officer saw it turn onto a large new neighborhood with no outlet. Issaquah police located the vehicle, and another Issaquah officer observed the suspect walking in the area with no good explanation for being in the neighborhood. The suspect was positively ID as the driver of the stolen vehicle, arrested and booked into jail.

An officer responded to a found property call, and the reporting party turned in a bottle of narcotics he had found. The officer submitted the pills into evidence for destruction.

Witnesses called in that a subject was outside and in a mental crisis. Police and Fire responded, and after unsuccessful attempts to communicate with her, the Crisis Response Team negotiator responded and got her to give up. She was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.

Officers contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and discovered the driver was driving with a suspended license. She was advised she would be summoned with a court date and released at the scene.

 NARRATIVE

Officers responded to a littering call and observed a truck driving in the area of SE 30th with paint dripping from it onto the city street. The officer attempted to contact the owner of the van but didn’t receive a response. The Streets Department was notified, and the paint was subsequently removed by them.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect stole almost $2,000’ worth of clothing and fled the area.  Loss prevention followed, and police later contacted the suspect. During a search following his arrest, officers located a loaded pistol in his backpack.  The suspect is a convicted felon, so he was booked into jail for unlawfully possessing a firearm.

Two individuals involved in a relationship were observed on surveillance engaged in a physical altercation. The subjects were detained without incident, and the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

As loss prevention attempted to deter a shoplifter, the loss prevention agent sustained minor injuries. There was no theft.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

An officer initiated a stop for a vehicle code violation. The driver made additional moving violations and got onto WB 520. The officer did not pursue but was able to clearly view the driver before the attempted traffic stop. The investigation led to the identity of the driver, and charges are pending.

 NARRATIVE

The suspect attempted to light the victim’s tent on fire while she was in it. According to the victim, the suspect and she are just friends but had been arguing. The suspect left the scene and called police to report he had been attacked and claimed he didn’t know anything about the arson. The officer investigated and developed probable cause that he was the arson suspect. He was arrested and booked into jail. There were no injuries.

The suspect left the roadway while driving north on 156th Ave NE, struck a tree, and drove through a chain-link fence before stopping on private property.  The officer developed probable cause for DUI. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
