Officers responded to a motion sensor alarm activation at the business and confirmed the business was burglarized.  Two males pried the front door of the business and removed tools (unknown loss at this time). The suspects fled in a white van. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was arrested for stealing a bottle of alcohol that he had concealed in his pants.  The suspect refused to identify himself or provide his fingerprints, so he was booked into jail as a John Doe. The jail staff recognized the suspect and provided his identity.

The victim called in because he and his mother heard and recognized the voice of his ex-boyfriend calling to him from behind their house.  The suspect could not be located or contacted but probable cause was established for an order violation and charges were sent to the prosecutor.

While on proactive patrol, an officer located a felony warrant subject and detained him pending confirmation of his warrant.  The warrant was confirmed, and the suspect was arrested and booked into jail without incident.

The victim reported that an unknown male had gotten into his vehicle without his permission. He told the officer that when he woke up that morning, he discovered that his vehicle was unlocked and a male walking away from it. When the officers arrived on the scene, the male had already left. They conducted a search of the area but didn’t locate him. The victim didn’t report any damage or items missing from his car.

The victim advised the officer that he left his vehicle parked in a parking lot overnight. He stated that the following day when he went to retrieve it, he discovered it was stolen. The officer entered the vehicle into the system as stolen.

The victim told the officer that when he was inside the business his vehicle was prowled. He advised that his passenger front seat window was smashed and a North Face backpack containing two laptops was taken from the passenger floorboard.

The suspect was in the area violating an anti-harassment order and causing a disturbance.  As officers arrived, the suspect left in a vehicle.  A traffic stop was attempted but the suspect refused to stop. He will be summoned in the mail.

After violating the terms of his anti-harassment order earlier in the day, the suspect returned to the area where he was identified by a neighbor.  The investigating officer submitted an additional charge for violating the anti-harassment order.  The suspect could not be located by responding Officers.

Loss prevention reported the suspect had shoplifted several hundred dollars’ worth of groceries and fled the scene.  Responding officers located the suspect nearby and developed probable cause for his arrest.  The merchandise was returned to the store and the suspect was released pending a summons.

Officers observed an occupied stolen vehicle in the parking lot and followed it from the location and onto southbound 405 where they conducted a High-Risk Vehicle Stop with other units.  The subject was taken into custody without incident.

The victim was assaulted in Seattle earlier in the day and went to the hospital. SPD could not send an officer due to staffing. A BPD officer documented the incident and forwarded the case to SPD.

The caller reported a man in a mental health crisis. Officers arrived and took him into protected custody without incident. He was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.

The suspect was seated behind the victim complaining about his driving. The victim brake checked the suspect, which upset her, and she punched the victim in the back of the head with a closed fist causing him pain. The female fled before police arrived. She was located approximately an hour and a half later and taken into custody without incident. She was booked into jail.

Two people allowed the subject to warm herself in their camper van because they saw her shivering in the cold.  Once in the van, the subject jumped into the bed in the back and refused to leave.  The subject is known to PD as having mental health issues.  She refused to exit the van after multiple requests and a written notice of trespass.  She was eventually arrested for trespassing and booked into jail.

Sometime between 5:00-6:00 am, the victim heard a sawing noise coming from the parking lot where his car was parked. He looked out his second-story balcony and saw a dark-colored car by his, and two people dressed in dark clothing. Due to it still being dark outside, he could not see anything further. Later in the morning, he went to his car and realized his catalytic converter had been cut from his car.

The suspect was seen stealing and when confronted by employees, the suspect produced a can of pepper spray and pointed it at them. The employees backed away and the suspect fled. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was caught stealing a Tommy Hilfiger Backpack and Duffle. He was confronted by security, dropped the bags and ran. The suspect tripped and fell to the ground, causing minor scratches. Security detained him before PD arrived. The suspect was seen by BFD who stated he did not need any further medical attention. He was released at the scene pending a summons.

The subject was in a crisis, possibly caused by drug consumption. Officers determined she was unable to care for herself in her current state and was a safety risk to herself and others. She was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Police responded to a theft in progress and determined that a suspect struggled with loss prevention agents to hold onto the merchandise he had concealed on his person and attempted to leave without paying. During the struggle, loss prevention suffered a minor injury to his hand. Probable cause was established but the suspect was not located. It was later discovered that another suspect picked up the first one in a vehicle near the location after the crime had occurred.

Officers contacted the suspect during an investigation for possession of a stolen vehicle. Upon contact, officers determined that the vehicle was not stolen, but had the wrong license plates attached knowingly by the registered owner. The driver was arrested and advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

Police responded to an armed carjacking that had just occurred and determined that the two victims were robbed at gunpoint, threatened, and their vehicle was stolen from them. During the incident, the victims stated that one of the suspects fired a shot off in their direction. An off-duty officer spotted the victims’ and the suspect’s vehicle, they were last seen headed eastbound in the Eastgate Area. Officer conducted an extensive area check but could not locate the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to a disturbance and contact the suspect. He was instructed to leave but continued to cause a disturbance. The suspect began to walk away but turned around and marched toward the officer. The suspect threatened to assault the officer. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into jail.

During the overnight hours, an unknown suspect burglarized several townhomes under construction.  Tools were stolen and copper wire was stripped out of the walls of the home.

A female suspect entered the story and placed three pairs of sunglasses worth $1000 in her purse. She left without paying. When stopped she swore at the associate.

The suspects entered the store together and went directly to the fragrances. They emptied shelves of perfume into bags and exited the store without paying. The suspects were seen leaving in a silver sedan with no plates. Officers located the car and attempted to stop it as it got onto westbound I-90. The suspects failed to yield and took off at a high rate of speed. The estimated loss is $2500.

The suspect knowingly entered the property while being restricted from doing so. There was a served anti-harassment order in place between the suspect and the victim. This is the second time in two weeks that the suspect has shown up and violated the order. Charges were sent to the prosecutor.

The suspect repeatedly called 911 reporting random things. Officers responded to the house and contacted the suspect’s father and brother and they said they had been tormented by the suspect all day, stating he was going to fight them and screamed in their faces. They were both genuinely scared for their safety. The suspect was arrested without incident for harassment and booked into jail.

Police responded to a report of a strong-armed robbery and the victim stated that while walking up the stairs to her residence, someone approached her from behind, grabbed her purse and fled to a waiting vehicle. The victim stated that the vehicle was last seen traveling southbound from the area at a high rate of speed. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers were flagged down for a disturbance in progress and determined that the suspect had pulled a firearm on the attendant while arguing about why the suspect was not wearing a mask and being physically escorted off the property. The victim stated that he was afraid that the suspect was going to shoot him.  Probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers contacted the suspect for a traffic violation and observed that the suspect driver was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. Two subjects in a grey sedan drove the victim as he was walking home from school. The victim says the passenger pointed a gun at him as they drove by. The victim described the gun as black with a colored tip, and says the subject pulled the trigger and it made a few clicking noises and then he said “bye”; the victim believes it was a toy gun but can’t confirm. The investigation is ongoing.

Several partygoers and the property owner reported shots being fired into the air by an unknown subject who was attempting to break up a fight outside the residence. Officers conducted a protective sweep of the residence and did not find any victims. They also canvassed the area and did not locate any additional victims or witnesses. There was no evidence of a shooting.
