 NARRATIVE

While conducting directed patrols, an officer observed several subjects quickly leave a vehicle and walk into the mall.  A check revealed the vehicle was stolen, so officers began checking the area for the involved subjects.  One of the passengers was located and arrested for a warrant.

 NARRATIVE

A security guard interrupted an attempted catalytic converter theft and was peppered sprayed by the two suspects, who then ran northbound from the location. Officers set a perimeter, and a K-9 search was initiated. A vehicle owned by one of the suspects was located nearby, along with a stolen vehicle. The K-9 search did not locate the suspects.

A suspect kicked in the front door of the victim’s apartment.  The responding officer observed a subject matching the description leaving the area of the apartments. He contacted the suspect. The officer established probable cause, and the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The reporting party stated that he thought he was inappropriately touched by an employee while receiving a massage earlier in the day. Officers took a statement and referred the case to detectives.

Off-duty officers witnessed a DV Malicious Mischief in which the suspect took the victim’s phone and broke it on purpose on the ground.  The suspect was held for an on-duty district officer.  The victim wished to aid in prosecution and provided a statement.  The suspect was booked into jail.

The adult victim reported being sexually assaulted by her 2nd cousin when she was 5 or 6 years old in 1995.  The case was forwarded to investigations for review.

A known subject, who is the cause of multiple calls for service, was causing a disturbance at a business.  He refused to leave after being trespassed, and after approximately 25 minutes of trying to convince him to leave, he was taken into custody and booked into jail.

While on proactive patrol, an officer recognized the two suspects from a previous case he was investigating.  The officer knew there was a valid/served order between the two and arrested the male suspect for the order violation.  The female suspect had multiple misdemeanor warrants out for her arrest, and she was arrested on those.  Both suspects were booked into jail without incident.

 NARRATIVE

A known subject was causing a disturbance at the establishment, then climbed up a light pole.  He was approximately 25 feet in the air, yelling and acting erratically. While up there, he damaged a traffic sign by kicking it repeatedly. He was eventually coaxed down and booked into jail.

 NARRATIVE

The reporting party called about the welfare of his neighbor.  He observed several packages had been outside her home for several days.  He added that she receives numerous packages, and they are usually picked up quickly.  He also usually sees her walking around the complex.  Officers arrived to find two-day-old food delivered by, Grub hub which had been unopened along with a package.  Her car was outside and had collected dust.  Officers called maintenance and were provided a key. She was not inside.  The following day detectives returned to the location.  Missing neighbor was at home, she had been on vacation.

 NARRATIVE

An employee called about a male shoplifting and concealing merchandise in his clothing while trying to push out a cart.  Officers arrived and developed probable cause.  They found the suspect hiding behind a bush nearby. The merchandise was recovered, and the suspect admitted to the theft. He was arrested and advised he would receive a summons in the mail and was released.

Police contacted the suspect for a traffic violation, and the driver displayed signs of intoxication. The officer developed probable cause, arrested the suspect, and booked him in jail. This is the suspect’s 3rd DUI arrest since October 2021, and the second time the traffic officer has arrested him for DUI.

Officers responded to three activation alarms. The monitoring service observed two males enter the business. Officers established a perimeter the K-9 unit responded. The track went to the alley behind the business, then ended, indicating suspects probably left in a vehicle.

A married couple got into an argument. The suspect tried to leave with the victim’s computer and pushed the victim, causing her to fall back into a dining room table, causing pain and injury. The officer arrested the suspect for Assault 4 DV and booked him into jail.

Officers responded to a call where the business wanted a female removed from the property. The officers spoke with the female and determined she was in need of assistance as she had her disabled son with her.  Bellevue Fire Cares was called to the scene and assisted as well.  Officers were able to assist in leaving the business.

The victim contacted 911 and reported that someone had entered her vehicle overnight and stole numerous items from inside it. The victim advised she does not know who could have broken into her vehicle.

The caller saw a light green car parked in front of the neighbor’s house with two men sitting inside. They witnessed the passenger exit the house with something and get into the car. The car left but returned a few minutes later. The passenger got out again and spent about 5 minutes in the house. He exited with a pillowcase full of something. He got in the car and fled. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to a car prowl and determined that the victim left his vehicle unlocked in the parking lot of the location and had his .45 caliber pistol stolen. The scene was processed for evidence, and the area was canvassed for video.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance and determined that while arguing with his wife, the husband grabbed the victim by her hair and dragged her down multiple flights of stairs, injuring her in the process. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress. While enroute to the scene, officers recognized the suspect and observed that he had an outstanding felony warrant. The investigation revealed no assault had taken place, but the suspect was arrested on the warrant and booked into jail.

Police responded to a single-vehicle collision and observed that the suspect had collided head-on into a streetlamp. There was substantial front-end damage to the suspect’s vehicle. The driver could not be located. The investigation showed the driver was the registered owner. The case was forwarded to traffic investigators for follow-up and enforcement.

 NARRATIVE

Staff members called for aid for a male who had been struck with a bottle. The male and a female had been seen arguing throughout the day by staff.  The victim was found on the ground outside elevators near his room.  The victim also had four scratches across his face, which appeared to be from fingernails.  The victim claimed he could not remember what happened when questioned by police but did state the couple was arguing.  The couple’s hotel room was observed, and a broken bottle was found, which appeared to substantiate the victim’s initial claims to staff.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

A dating couple had an argument, and the suspect pushed the victim down, causing her to hit her head on a windowsill.  The suspect was gone when officers arrived.  The suspect was reached on the phone but would not meet with officers. He was summoned for DV assault.

A father and son got into an altercation. The son was angry and in a crisis. He got upset and threw a chair at his father. The chair struck him in the leg and resulted in small abrasion. Officers arrived on the scene and took the subject into custody without incident. He was booked into jail and referred to the King County Designated Crisis Responders program.
