Bellevue Police to Host Crossroads Community Meeting
The Bellevue Police Department will be hosting a Crossroads community town hall meeting at Stevenson Elementary School tomorrow night from 6 to 7:30pm. Department members will be on hand to answer questions and address community concerns related to recent events in the area, including last week’s homicide.

Bellevue Police Investigating Suspicious Death
This morning at 12:30 a.m., Bellevue Police responded to Goldsmith Park (3200 142nd Pl NE) for a report of shots fired. Residents in the area called police to report hearing gunshots coming from the area of the park. When Officers arrived, they located a deceased male with gunshot wounds. No suspects were located at the scene. Bellevue Police are treating this death as suspicious and Detectives are investigating. There are no street closures, and Bellevue Police do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.

Bellevue Police Investigating Overnight Shooting
Bellevue Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a shopping center in the city late last night. At 11:20 p.m., Bellevue Police responded to a report of shots fired at the Kelsey Creek Shopping center, which is located at 15015 Main Street. When Officers arrived, they located a business that had the front windows shot out, and also located a parked vehicle that had been struck by gunfire.
Officers later learned that an occupied vehicle had also been hit by gunfire. Officers contacted the victim nearby and obtained a statement from her. The victim was not hit or injured, however the vehicle she was in had been struck by gunfire several times, and the side and rear windows were shot out.

The Bellevue Police department continues to investigate this incident. It is unknown at this time what the motive for the shooting was. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or submit a tip online.
