An employee for Bellevue Parks found a subject inside the Bellevue Aquatic Center which was closed for construction.  The subject might have been associated with a car parked in the lot.  The vehicle was stolen out of Redmond.  Officers contacted the subject on pool property.  A witness positively identified the subject as being the driver of the stolen car.  The suspect refused to identify himself but was identified by DOL photo.  The stolen car belonged to the suspect’s father.  The victim responded to recover the car.  The suspect was booked into jail on a felony warrant.

Five subjects entered the location and drew the attention of the employees.  When one employee asked if they could help one of the females, she was elbowed, and the subject made a derogatory comment.  Two other subjects stole a bottle of perfume and left the store.  The employee recognized one male from a prior theft.  An officer located the suspect vehicle as it was being followed by security onto I405 from NE 4 ST.  The officer followed and waited for another unit.  Once there, the officer initiated a traffic stop at NE 44 ST in Renton.  The suspect vehicle eluded the officer’s attempt to stop.  There was no pursuit and the investigation is ongoing.

The officer arrived and recognized the subject from an earlier disturbance at a different business. The active trespass was confirmed as well as the suspect’s identity. It was discovered the suspect lied about his name and birthdate on the previous disturbance. The officer added the charge of false information and transported the suspect to jail.

Officers contacted the suspect following a two-vehicle collision with injuries. Upon contact, the investigating officer determined that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to illegal drug consumption and driving. The victim passenger was diagnosed at the hospital with multiple broken ribs and a punctured lung.  Officers initiated a vehicular assault investigation initiated and established probable cause.  The suspected was arrested and during the booking process, the alert officer and jail deputy discovered that the suspect had smuggled several baggies of suspected narcotic pills inside of her person and was attempting to flush down a toilet. The drugs were seized and later logged into evidence. Drug charges were added.

Police contacted the suspect in reference to a domestic disturbance and No Contact Order Violation in progress. The responding officers confirmed the No Contact Order violated and located the suspect hiding within the residence in the kitchen. Officers detained the suspect and upon interviewing family members within residence, the officers discovered that the suspect had committed multiple crimes against his family. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Bike Officers received a call from security about two subjects prowling vehicles in the west garage.  Officers located the suspects and their vehicle. Suspect one was asked to step out of the vehicle and immediately fled on foot. Suspect one pulled a handgun out of his waistband as officers chased after him.  The suspect threw the handgun and continued fleeing on foot. Security pepper-sprayed the suspect and then he got on the ground.  The firearm was stolen.  Numerous Felony and misdemeanor charges pending.  Suspect two was taken into custody and booked on misdemeanor charges.

King County Crisis Response Team (KCRT) called Bellevue Police to help a domestic violence victim. KCRT reported that the victim was being physically abused by her son for several months. She was also assaulted at 0600 this morning. The investigating officer developed probable cause for assault and assembled an arrest team. Another officer caught the suspect trying to flee out a side window of the home.  The subject was arrested and booked into jail.

A distressed suspect was contacted by police at the above location. The investigating officer was working a possible DUI collision when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect appeared to be agitated that police were in the area and repeatedly approached the officer in an aggressive manner, upset and emotional about the situation. The suspect was given multiple chances to walk away and when he finally made the decision to do so, he flicked his cigarette at the officer. The suspect was arrested and later released.  He was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date.

Police responded to a call of a car prowl in progress. The suspects were verbally challenged by the victim before they could make entry into the car and fled from the location. Responding officers located suspects within the 18600 BLK of NE 15 PL and upon initiating contact, the suspects again fled on foot. The perimeter unit gave chase on foot and was fired upon by one of the suspects with a firearm. A multi-agency perimeter was set, King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 1 was called out to assist, and an unsuccessful K9 track was initiated. Officers locked down the shooting scene, photographed and collected evidence. Patrol officers canvassed the area to ensure the safety of residents. No officers or civilians were injured during K9 track or the violent interaction with the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

A female suspect confronted the victim (her husband) in Seattle after she found out he was having an affair.  The suspect assaulted the other woman, at which point the husband tried to pull the two women apart. The Suspect then turned her aggression towards her husband and ended up biting and hitting him.  The suspect, victim, and the other woman all drove back to Bellevue in the same car where the other woman’s husband was advised of the affair.  Police were contacted after there were statements of being suicidal. Seattle Police were contacted and said would respond, develop PC, and arrest the suspect.

Officers served a search warrant on the car that a suspect was driving.  The suspect was arrested on her warrants on 08/11/19 and a warrant was issued for her vehicle.  During the search of the vehicle, officers located and seized a Smith & Wesson .44 loaded revolver, 1 Raven .25 Semi-auto pistol, 2.0 grams of heroin, various drug paraphernalia, and ID theft documents.  The suspect was charged with Unlawful Possession of a firearm, Drugs, and Investigation for ID theft.

Fitness and then made entry into a secured locker in the locker room.  The suspect took multiple forms of identification and credit cards from the victim’s property.  Later, there were multiple fraudulent purchases made on the victim’s accounts.  This is consistent with a string of similar crimes that have been occurring.

Security contacted police after they observed a male with two crowbars. Pry marks were found on two different doors that lead into an office area from the stairwell.  The suspect was eventually located by Security in a locked area of the 24th floor and fled to a vehicle before leaving the area in it.  Security provided photos of the suspect.  The investigating officer was able to identify him by comparing security photos with the DOL photo of the registered owner of the vehicle that left the scene.  It was discovered that he is a former employee.  He has not been located at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

The reporting party called after noticing suspicious people in the parking lot of his apartment complex.  An officer located a related stolen vehicle with a female sleeping in the backseat area.  She was detained.  He also observed two subjects running from the stolen vehicle.  Auburn P.D. responded to assist with a K9 track but could not initially locate the suspects.  A perimeter officer saw one of them and became engaged in a foot pursuit, however, he lost her a short time later.  A follow-up K9 track was unsuccessful, and it’s believed the suspect possibly fled on a trail that was in the area.  She was identified during the investigation, which is ongoing.

The reporting party called in a domestic disturbance last night that officers responded to but were unable to contact or locate the reporting party.  The reporting party called in today to report the incident again.  The officer contacted the reporting party who stated that there was a physical altercation last night with her boyfriend.  The boyfriend was contacted via telephone today who reported that he was attacked by the reporting party last night at a convenient store.  The officer viewed the footage from the convenient store and confirmed that a physical altercation occurred.  Due to significant inconsistencies between both parties’ statements and lack of cooperation no primary aggressor was established.  The case will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

Upon contacting the suspect, the investigating officer observed what appeared to be drug evidence within the center console area of the suspect vehicle in plain view. Probable cause was established, the suspect was arrested and provided consent to search his vehicle. The officer found .3 Grams of suspected fentanyl.  The suspect was advised he would be summoned in the mail with a court date and released at the scene.

The reporting party called the police to report a threat made against his life by the boyfriend of a female coworker regarding amorous text messages.  Upon investigation, the reporting party provided conflicting reports of the gravity and details of the reported threat.  The suspect was contacted via telephone who provided a conflicting version of events.  The reporting party ultimately declined to cooperate with the investigation after being asked to provide a statement under penalty of perjury.  Captain notified.

The reporting party called regarding the highly intoxicated suspect spitting on a window.  Officers contacted the suspect and determined that he met the criteria for an involuntary evaluation at the hospital.  While taking the suspect into protective custody, the suspect spit in the face of a Bellevue police employee that was on a ride-along.  After the hospital evaluation, the suspect will be booked on assault charges.

While on patrol, officers saw the suspect backed into a parking space.  He was sitting in the driver seat and smoking something out of a pen shaft.  Officers contacted the subject, arresting him for possession of drug paraphernalia.  With consent, officers searched the car and recovered 1.66 grams of suspected heroin from the car.  The suspect released to an adult friend and a summons was completed for drug paraphernalia.

Multiple callers reported that the suspect was attacking a female and was now fighting with a male who was wielding a knife. Upon arrival and securing the scene, the primary officer discovered that the suspect had assaulted his wife, and when a good Samaritan and his son stopped to assist, the suspect threatened to shoot and kill them for intervening. The Samaritan, believing the suspect’s statements, pulled out a knife, attempting to defend himself, his son, and the female that was being assaulted. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
