An officer conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle.  One subject exited just prior to the driver fleeing the scene in the vehicle.  The officer stayed with the remaining subject and determined that he had an outstanding, no bail felony warrant for escape from community custody.  He was arrested and booked into jail.

A traffic collision occurred at the above location between a vehicle and a pedestrian.  There was confusion between the pedestrian and the driver due to the pedestrian being developmentally delayed.  The pedestrian went home while the driver was moving the vehicle to a parking lot after the driver helped the pedestrian get up and to safety.  The pedestrian’s mother called 911 and reported the collision about 2 hours later and reported that the pedestrian had a small fracture in her neck and deep bruising to leg.  Officers took a report due to the nature of injuries.

Officers responded to investigate a domestic disturbance in progress.  The investigation showed the suspect violated an active order protecting the victim and assaulted the victim. The victim said the suspect left the scene prior to officers arriving. A perimeter was set for a K9 track which indicated the suspect may still be in the residence. Eventually, the suspect was located in the residence and it was determined the victim lied about the suspect’s identity. The suspect was booked into jail and the victim was summonsed for Obstruction and False Information.

Officer witnessed a moving vehicle with an obstructed plate. Following the traffic stop, the officers discovered the driver did not have a driver’s license. Further investigation resulted in false statements and an illegal weapon on the suspect. It was finally revealed the driver had an active warrant. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Loss prevention observed the subject stealing merchandise from the store. The subject exited the mall and was detained by BPD Bike and the Downtown Unit officers along with loss prevention. The subject was found to be in possession of over $900.00 worth of stolen property from three different stores. The subject was also found to be in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia, a bank check, two ledgers containing a list of products to steal, and identification information of unknown subjects. She was arrested and booked into jail.

An elderly female was struck by a vehicle at the above-listed location while using the crosswalk. Bellevue fire and BPD arrived and determined that the female sustained life-threatening injuries and was immediately transported to the hospital. At the time of the collision, conditions were dry and foggy. The subsequent investigation determined that no crime took place. Evidence was identified, photographed and collected.

While at the Factoria Square Mall substation, an officer was contacted by a woman who had just been robbed of her cell phone at gunpoint near the entrance of the mall.  Officers responded to the area and set up a perimeter around the area where the suspect was last seen running.  A K9 unit responded and a search was conducted of the area.  A short time later, the suspect was located within the main building of a storage facility and he was taken into custody without incident.  The weapon used and property taken were both recovered from the suspect.  Schools in the area were placed in lockdown and were subsequently released.  He was booked into jail.

The contact revealed the driver had three outstanding warrants. During the investigation, the driver alleged she was raped 30 minutes prior, in the Crossroads area by a “date” she had arranged with an unknown male. The investigation is ongoing.

While looking in an old safe, employees came across some glass vials that contained a liquid chemical. The chemical was identified by the Bomb Squad as a chemical substance used in an old method to prevent people from breaking into old safes. The containers were recovered and later disposed of safely.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival and securing the scene, officers were able to identify the male suspect and female victim involved, who had fled the scene. Officers learned that the suspect was violently assaulting the female in the hotel room and had stabbed the suspect with a pair of scissors to get away from him. The female victim returned to the scene and provided a statement. The victim was transported to the hospital and officers searched the area for the suspect but could not locate him. Later officers determined the suspect was in Redmond. The suspect arrested, interviewed, and booked into jail.

The subject and her friends were intending to go to a party, so they subsequently shoplifted 10 bottles of Gray Goose to get started.  They fled in a Green Jeep onto northbound I-405 when officers spotted the vehicle. The suspect was positively identified, she also had outstanding warrants.  She was arrested and booked into jail.

The victim reported that an Amazon driver drove up to her as she was walking her dog. He asked how she was doing and if he could have her phone number. She said no. He then asked her if she wanted to get in the van with him and again, she said no and that she was calling the police. The suspect drove off. Not able to get any further information on the Amazon driver or van.

The suspect approached a male getting into his car. The suspect acted like he had a weapon in his waistband and tried getting into the victim’s car, telling him he was going to kill him. The victim pulled his registered gun from his glove box and told the suspect to leave. Officers located the suspect and arrested after the victim identified him. The suspect had caused two other disturbance calls earlier in the morning.  He was booked into jail.

Officers arrested the suspect during a traffic stop for driving on a suspended license.  Officers asked for and were given consent to search the suspect’s vehicle after spotting a suspected methamphetamine pipe.  8.6 grams of methamphetamine was found during the consent search and the suspect was booked into jail.

Officers responded to a shoplift in progress. The suspects were initially spotted while cutting the security tags and taking thousands of dollars’ worth of high-end purses. When the clerk confronted the suspects, one of them pointed pepper spray at the clerk.  The suspects fled on foot and made their way to a waiting silver sedan/minivan type of car. Command and detectives were notified, and scene processed. Surveillance footage collected.

Officers responded to an open line 911 cell phone call with sounds of an argument/disturbance heard in the background before the line went dead.  The female called back a few minutes later stating the male left and requested to cancel, but the officers stayed en route.  The suspect suspiciously pulled into an adjacent business park while officers were responding, and he was contacted there.  The victim was contacted in her hotel room where she had obvious injuries.  The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

The suspect arrived at his mother’s funeral, against the mother’s wishes, and caused a disturbance.  The suspect assaulted three family members before getting into his vehicle.  The suspect’s brother was attempting to get the license plate number for dispatch.  While doing so, the suspect drove towards the victim, who was struck by the mirror as he jumped out of the way. The suspect fled the scene.  Charges were filed for Assault 1, (3) Assault 4, and Disorderly Conduct for fighting where a funeral is being performed.

Two unidentified suspects entered the victim’s apartment through a window.  They went through the apartment and removed numerous items, which included at least one handgun.  The victim awoke as the suspect’s left the apartment, and a vehicle was heard fleeing the scene.  Surveillance video showed two suspects were inside the apartment for an extended period while the victim was asleep.

A subject was contacted by security after driving at an unreasonable speed in a parking garage.  He exited the vehicle, acted aggressive and held an item at his chest that was believed to be a can of pepper spray or possibly a firearm.  The first arriving officer located the subject’s vehicle and followed it until further assistance could arrive.  A high-risk stop was conducted, and the subject was taken into custody without incident.  He was eventually booked into jail for harassment.

A white BMW occupied by a male and a female was involved in a minor collision with a motorcycle in the downtown area.  The driver of the BMW then fled the scene.  The motorcycle rider followed the BMW into the Enatai area and watched as it left the roadway and collided with a tree and a power pole.  The occupants of the BMW then fled the second crash scene on foot.  The top 2/3 of the power pole was completely disconnected from the portion in the ground and was leaning on a tree just above the vehicle.  In addition, there were live power lines sparking in a tree over the BMW, live power lines hanging over the roadway, and a live line laying on the roadway nearby.  Bellevue Fire stayed on-scene to prevent a fire until PSE could respond and cut the power.

While en route to the scene, a responding officer found the female passenger lying face down in the bushes approximately 100 yards south of the vehicle.  She was intoxicated but responsive and eventually transported to the hospital for treatment.  It was determined that the owners of the BMW lived near the accident scene, and additional officers went to the residence.  A K9 also tracked from the accident to the residence.  The officers made entry for community caretaking purposes so that the welfare of the male could be checked since he was not answering the door.  It was believed that he was possibly seriously injured due to the condition of his vehicle at the crash site.  The male was found in an upstairs bedroom and he appeared intoxicated but not seriously injured.  Misdemeanor and felony hit & run charges will be filed for the two collisions.  The investigation is ongoing.

Security reported a female who was trespassing on their property.  She was given a notice earlier in the night after causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.  An officer located her in reference to the trespass.  The female attempted to push the officer away and then pull from his grasp while she was being arrested.  He and another officer took the suspect to the ground and handcuffed her without further incident.  She was booked into jail.

The officers discovered that the suspect had accidentally run over his girlfriend while attempting to turn his vehicle out of the cul-de-sac they were parked in. The female victim was transported to the hospital with a possible serious injury to her left leg. The investigating officer determined that the suspect was exhibiting the effects of impairment due to alcohol consumption and driving. Probable cause was established, and the suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Assault

Police responded to a physical disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers discovered an uncooperative male victim who had been violently assaulted. Multiple witnesses were contacted, and a suspect was detained for investigation of Felony Assault.  The investigating officer determined that during the disturbance, the victim had been choked, possibly had a broken nose and concussion, and was having trouble breathing. BFD Medics were called to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital. None of the witnesses were willing to relate any details of the incident. The investigating officer observed that the suspect would not share any details of the assault, however, there was evidence of him being the primary aggressor. Officers photographed the victim and the suspect. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail. While at the hospital with the victim, an officer was able to establish a rapport with the victim and learned that his girlfriend was also involved. Officers conducted a welfare check for the victim’s girlfriend and found she was unharmed. The victim’s girlfriend was also uncooperative and unwilling to provide any details as to why she and her boyfriend were attacked. The investigation is ongoing.

Domestic Disturbance

Snohomish County Sherriff’s department contacted Bellevue police about an assault that occurred in Bellevue at approximately 0130 HRS. Snohomish County deputies had a suspect in custody at the City of Bothell for Assault DV and stated that the female victim was safe. The suspect was transferred to Bellevue, where he was transported and booked into jail.

Police contacted the suspect during an investigation of a domestic disturbance.  The victim had contacted police wanting to report that his ex-boyfriend had assaulted him. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim had obvious injuries. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Eluding A Police Officer

Officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle and when they arrived on the scene, the driver quickly backed out and exited the property at a high rate of speed. Attempts were made to conduct a traffic stop, however, the vehicle failed to yield and sped away; there was no pursuit. The vehicle failed to stop at multiple red lights and did not yield to a traffic stop. There was no visible license plate and windows tinted on a newer model light vehicle.

An officer was on proactive patrol and located an occupied parked vehicle. According to police records, the registered owner had an active warrant. The officer contacted the occupant and determined the subject was the registered owner.  He was arrested and booked into jail.
