Officers responded to an early morning disturbance where there were several people yelling outside of a home. While in route, officers were notified that one of the unidentified subjects began crashing her car into a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, the officer interviewed the two subjects remaining on scene. Despite the officer’s investigative efforts, nobody seemed to have any information for him and were uncooperative. The case was assigned for follow-up.

Officers responded to investigate a robbery in progress. The victim reported that he was walking on the sidewalk when the suspect approached him, punched him in the face causing injury, and forcibly took the victim’s phone.  The suspect then smashed the phone onto the ground and ran from the scene. A perimeter was set for a K9 track that was terminated due to heavy foot traffic. A short period later, officers located the suspect near NE 8th St/110 Ave NE. During the arrest, the suspect spat onto the officer’s face while he was assisting with the arrest.  The suspect was booked into jail.

A construction crew found a loaded gun in the wooded area of an apartment complex.  The officer retrieved the gun and it appeared to have been there for a while, rusted and difficult to clear.  The gun was loaded with no record.  The gun was booked into evidence.

The victim went to the suspect’s house to fix a broken door.  The victim is a protected party in an order with the suspect.  The victim’s wife learned that the victim was at the suspect’s apartment and was on her way there.  The victim then left the apartment and called the police to report the incident.  The suspect denied ever seeing the victim and changed her story numerous time.  The suspect was arrested and while in booking she disclosed that the victim had raped her.  The suspect was taken to OMH for an exam and then booked into jail on the order violation.  Captain and detectives were notified, and detectives will investigate the sexual assault allegations.

Two subjects became involved in a domestic dispute when the intoxicated male attempted to settle a dispute with his girlfriend by having her speak on the phone with his ex-wife.  His girlfriend became angry, struck him, and threw his phone off the balcony.  He suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.  The suspect was booked into jail.

The reporting party contacted BPD to advised three subjects were “lighting a glass pipe” inside a vehicle parked at the location. The subjects were observed by responding officer passing a glass pipe to one another inside the vehicle. The subjects were contacted and detained while an investigation was conducted. A consent search of the vehicle revealed three backpacks that were seized pending a search warrant. One subject was taken into custody on an unrelated case. The other two subjects were released on scene pending further investigation into the incident. Criminal charges will be forwarded upon completion of the investigation.

The suspect was in distress and broke into his roommate’s room and threatened to kill her while swinging a bat. He took her phone and hid it causing a delay in reporting. The suspect was caught a few hours later after when he stole a phone from a store, causing a foot pursuit with citizens and officers. The suspect was caught, arrested for theft and assault, and booked into jail.

The subjects left in a black car south on I-405.  Law enforcement attempted to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation, but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed south on 405. The officer did not follow the vehicle which continued passed Bellevue into Renton.

Officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance.  The suspect appeared to be advancing aggressively on the victim when officers arrived.  Officers were able to detain the subject in handcuffs and he lay on the ground.  While on the ground, the suspect attempted to kick an officer in the head but missed.  The suspect was further restrained and taken to the patrol car.  While trying to get the suspect to place his legs in the patrol car he cursed at and then spit on one of the officers.  No force was used.  The investigating officer also determined the suspect was the primary aggressor in an assault against his brother.  The suspect was booked into jail on two counts of assault.

The intoxicated suspect was asked to move by Earl’s staff because he was disrupting the business.  He was then asked by security and still refused to move from his position, which was in the way of the employees who were trying to serve other customers.  Officers arrived and asked the subject to move multiple times but he still refused.  He also told his friends that he would not move or leave.  After many requests to leave the property, he was placed under arrest for trespassing.  The suspect resisted with static tension and continued to refuse to obey officers’ commands.  He was taken to the ground and placed in handcuffs.  He then resisted being put in the patrol vehicle and was eventually hobbled before being transported to Score Jail.  Chain of command was notified.

Officers responded to a 911 hang up with a telephone number that has a history associated with a domestic disturbance. NORCOM re-established contact with the female caller. A disturbance was heard in the background where the female said the male had a weapon. The female then said there was no weapon in play. The male was heard in the background saying that he was going to kill the cops. The female was heard laughing in the background. The female told NORCOM that she just wanted her boyfriend to leave because he arrived home intoxicated. The boyfriend left the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. An area check was conducted, but the male was not located. Officers investigated the incident and determined that there was no crime. The victim was not in fear and felt safe at home.

She alerted her boyfriend and they chased after him as he drove off. The suspect is known, and the case was forwarded to detectives.

The suspect and victim are just friends, and the victim was visiting the suspect.  The suspect punched the victim numerous times during her stay and prevented her from leaving the house.  During an argument, the suspect accidentally stepped on the victim’s 5-month-old child and prevented her from getting the child help.  Once the suspect left for work the victim fled and called the police.  The child was taken to the hospital with no injuries.  Attempts to contact the suspect were unsuccessful but officers are going to attempt contact again tomorrow and file charges.  No visible injuries to the victim.

A female called 911 and indicated that she wanted to report “abuse.”  Dispatch added that yelling could be heard in the background.  Initially there was no answer at the door, however, officers rang the doorbell for several minutes and eventually made contact.  The subsequent investigation revealed that a husband and wife both had injuries that were consistent to indicate that an assault occurred with the husband being the aggressor.  He was placed under arrest and booked into jail without incident.

The subject was identified as being the driver of the vehicle. Officers observed a bag of mail in the vehicle and obtained consent to retrieve the property. The subject denied knowledge of the bag of mail and mentioned the vehicle was recently loaned to her by a male friend. The subject could not be positively identified by the reporting party. The subject was released, and the investigating officer conducted a series of follow-up investigations regarding the property; criminal charges pending in investigation.

This call was initially dispatched as a shooting due to the original reporting party misinterpreting one of the involved party’s facial injuries and the statements he was making while passing through an apartment complex.  The investigating officer would later determine all three parties know each other, and they had been threatening each other over social media.  Today all the parties to play basketball.  While playing basketball, the two identified parties fought each other resulting in minor injuries to both parties.  Statements were taken from the involved parties, and the case was forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

The victim left the keys in his truck as he went inside the store for about 10 minutes. His vehicle was taken while he was inside.  Later in the evening, the victim called Federal Way PD to inform them his credit card was being used at a store in Federal Way. The victim went to Federal Way himself and found a male and female suspect with his stolen truck.  An argument/fight ensued in the parking lot, Federal Way PD were called and responded.  The officers detained the subjects for possession of the stolen vehicle. The male suspect was arrested.  Bellevue Police completed a report to forward to the Investigations unit for follow-up.

A subject was sleeping in a sleeping bag on the property.  An employee woke the subject up and asked him to leave.  The subject stood up and began to yell and swear at the employee.  The subject then picked up a weapon that he had been sleeping on and held it in his hand while he yelled at the employee.  The employee went into the building and called the police.  The subject left on foot southbound with the weapon in hand and the sleeping bag draped over it. Officers located and contacted the subject and saw the weapon affixed to his belt, in plain view.  The officers, with guns drawn, gave verbal commands for the subject to comply and lay on the ground.  The subject refused and began to pace back and forth, yelling at the officers with his hands out to his side.  The subject then reached for the weapon and untied it from his belt.  He then dropped the weapon on the ground and began to walk away from officers, but then complied.  Officers detained the subject. The subject was arrested booked into jail for possession of a dangerous weapon.   Command staff was notified.

Vehicular Assault

Police officers were responding to a one-vehicle traffic collision with serious injury when they learned the driver of the vehicle was observed by witnesses fleeing from the collision on foot into the Sunset Hills Cemetery. Witnesses at the scene provided a detailed description of the suspect.  The responding units set a decisive perimeter around the collision site and initiated a K9 track. The suspect was located by K9 Officer TYR and his partners several blocks away from the collision site. Multiple witnesses at the scene were able to identify the suspect driver.  The investigating officer determined that the suspect’s passenger was seriously injured because of the collision and had to be extricated out of the vehicle by the Bellevue Fire Department. The passenger was transported to the hospital.  The suspect driver was arrested and booked into jail.
